ONE-PAN HONEY BEEF

INGREDIENTS (Serves 4)

1.5 lbs flank steak (or sirloin), thinly sliced

3 tbsp honey
-
3 tbsp soy sauce
-
2 tbsp oyster sauce
-
1 tbsp rice vinegar
-
3 garlic cloves, minced
-
1 tsp grated ginger
-
1/2 tsp red pepper flakes (optional)

1 tbsp cornstarch (for thickening)

2 tbsp oil (for cooking)

Sesame seeds & green onions (for garnish)
STEP-BY-STEP
MARINATE (5 MINUTES OR UP TO 1 HOUR)

Whisk honey, soy sauce, oyster sauce, rice vinegar, garlic, ginger, and red pepper flakes.

Toss sliced beef in half the marinade.
COOK THE BEEF

Heat oil in a large skillet over high heat.

Sear beef in batches (donβt overcrowd!) for 1-2 minutes per side until browned. Remove and set aside.
MAKE THE SAUCE

Pour the remaining marinade into the pan.

Mix cornstarch with 1 tbsp water, then stir into the sauce.

Simmer 1-2 minutes until thickened.
FINISH & SERVE

Return beef to the pan, toss to coat in the sticky glaze.

Garnish with sesame seeds & green onions.
PRO TIPS
Freeze beef for 30 minutes for easier slicing.
Extra veggies? Add bell peppers or broccoli in Step 3.
Spice it up with sriracha or chili garlic sauce.
Meal prep: Stores well for 3 days β reheat with a splash of water.
