INGREDIENTS (2 hearty sandwiches)

1 lb chicken thighs (boneless, sliced thin – breasts work too)

1 green bell pepper (thin strips)

1 onion (sliced into half-moons)

4 slices provolone (or American/Cheez Whiz for authenticity)

2 hoagie rolls (toasted with butter & garlic)

2 tbsp Worcestershire sauce

1 tbsp soy sauce (secret umami boost!)

1 tsp smoked paprika

Salt/pepper to taste

STEP-BY-STEP
SLICE & SEAR

Pound chicken slightly between plastic wrap, then slice into thin strips
